Man’s most outstanding achievements is the creation of electrical power. Civilization has made it’s greatest achievements using this power source Elecricity simply stated is made by burning other types of energy known as fossil fuels. Another means that can be used to power the turbines is water. Flowing water is diverted to a main cachement known as a dam. This huge reservoir of water creates enough pressure to flow over the blades of the tubine which then turns to generate electricity.
